Merchant Agreement
Version 2026-09-16This agreement governs the relationship between Coinzen and any merchant using the Coinzen payment infrastructure. By opening an account you accept this text.
Last updated: 2026-09-16
1. Nature of the service
Coinzen is technical payment infrastructure. Crypto-asset payments made by a merchant's customer go directly to the merchant's own wallet; Coinzen never holds, custodies or redirects those assets at any stage.
Coinzen is not a bank, a payment institution or a crypto-asset custodian. It does not take deposits, does not transfer funds and does not give investment advice.
2. Blockchain transfers are irreversible
A transfer confirmed on a blockchain cannot be reversed. Payments sent to the wrong address, over the wrong network or in the wrong asset cannot be refunded or recovered by Coinzen.
The merchant manages its own collection wallet address and private keys. Coinzen cannot compensate for lost keys.
3. Merchant obligations
The merchant confirms that the trade name and contact details given at registration are accurate and current, and that the goods and services it sells are its own responsibility.
The merchant is responsible for complying with the law applicable to its business, including tax, consumer protection, licensing and permit requirements. Coinzen does not audit that compliance and is not a party to the merchant's relationship with its customer.
4. Prohibited businesses and uses
Coinzen infrastructure may not be used to collect payment for:
- narcotics, controlled substances and their precursor chemicals
- weapons, ammunition, explosives and their components
- counterfeit, pirated or otherwise infringing goods
- unlicensed gambling, betting and games of chance
- sale of stolen data, accounts, identity documents or card details
- ransomware, malware and cyber-attack services
- crypto-asset mixers, tumblers and other services designed to obscure transaction trails
- funds raised on a promise of investment return, pyramid and Ponzi schemes
- human trafficking, organ trade and any exploitative content
- dealings with persons, entities or countries on national or international sanctions lists
5. Suspension and termination
Where Coinzen has reasonable grounds to suspect a breach of this agreement, it may suspend the merchant's account or terminate the agreement without prior notice.
Suspension does not affect the merchant's access to the assets in its own wallet — Coinzen never holds them. Suspension only stops new invoice creation and the payment page.
The merchant may terminate at any time by closing its account.
6. Commission and prepaid balance
The service fee is a commission calculated on the amount collected and is deducted from the prepaid commission balance shown in the dashboard. That balance is prepaid service credit, not a loan.
When the balance runs out, new invoices cannot be created; collection on existing invoices is unaffected.
7. Limitation of liability
Coinzen is not liable for blockchain network outages, chain reorganisations, fee volatility or delays; for prices supplied by third-party rate providers; or for defects in the merchant's own integration.
Coinzen's total liability under this agreement cannot exceed the commission collected from the merchant in the three months preceding the event.
8. Records and official requests
Coinzen retains invoice records, blockchain transaction references and account activity for the period required by law.
Where a properly issued request is received from a competent authority, Coinzen is obliged to share those records and is not required to notify the merchant in advance.
9. Reporting abuse
If you believe Coinzen infrastructure is being used in breach of this agreement, report it to [email protected]. Reports are reviewed and accounts are suspended where warranted.
10. Changes, governing law and jurisdiction
Coinzen may amend this agreement. Amendments are published under a new version number; the merchant's acceptance record shows the version it accepted, and re-acceptance is requested for material changes.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The Istanbul Central (Çağlayan) Courts and Execution Offices have jurisdiction.
